about

I created this album out of the temperature of the studio’s renaissance process. I would be trying difference techniques via recording through a proper mixer, onto cassette tape and then back into the computer. I was looking for watery sound, looking at the differences in warmth during sunrise coming through the window, windiest timing during a typhoon and the emptiness in the atmospheric space within the building after 3am. The sound of the drone is like a click and signal that when the synths are left on for days…it is all about the timing when you begins to recording the next phases and using the most basic rhythms to create a very basic tonal sound, almost linear without layers of complexity that each take is live recorded and balance by the weight of the most subliminal noise and sound.
